Here's an apple for the teacher's desk that's very practical and inspiring too, because it holds perpetual calendar cards and 16 verse cards, each printed on both sides for 32 verses altogether. It's very quick and simple to change the date cards as the days go by. For even dates, just turn around the card in front, and for odd dates just slide the front card around to the back. When the month is over, turn the whole stack around and the cards are in order and ready to go. One verse card has a special Teacher poem on the front side, and the back side plus all other cards have assorted Bible verses; choose any one to display in front. The apple is about 2 1/2" high and made of resin. It all comes in a see-through box, ready for gift giving.
